One Armored Car Flips, One Is Robbed www.privateofficer.com

Two incidents involving armored cars occurred this week according to our newswire blasts.
In Tallahassee Florida, an armored money truck overturned blocking traffic for hours.
It happened around 10am on Wednesday morning on the corner of Brevard and North Bronough. Police say the driver of the Loomis truck ran a red light and crashed into a Kia, causing the front end of the car to rip off. The truck flipped at least twice
The driver of the Kia sustained minor injuries. The driver and passenger of the truck were taken to TMH with minor injuries. The driver of the truck did receive a traffic citation.
According to police, there was no loss of contents and the accident was cleared without any problems.

The other incident involving an armored truck was in Santa Rosa California where an armed man wearing a ski mask held it up.
Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Lisa Banayat said officers were searching for the suspect, who robbed the truck’s guards outside of Bank of America.The holdup occurred at 10:23 a.m. No one was injured.How much cash was stolen wasn’t available. But Banayat said some cash was recovered in the shopping center.Another armored car robbery occurred in September at the Exchange Bank on Stony Point Road.
