www.privateofficer.com Authorities have arrested a member of the Atlanta Police Department’s Red Dog Unit and he made his first court appearance Thursday on charges he raped his neighbor.
According to investigators with the Clayton County police, a neighbor claims 27-year-old Edward Rabb raped and sodomized her at his house after she used his shower.
“Her hot water heater had gone out and she had actually gone over to use the shower,” said Officer Tim Owens.
After that shower, the woman said she tried to leave and that’s when the assault happened.
According to the police report, she said she told Rabb to stop and that it wasn’t what she wanted but he forcably raped her and according to the police report he used police maneuvers to restrain her.
“The way that he was holding her on the bed, that he did force her arm behind her according to the report,” said Owens.
Rabb’s attorney, Lance Tyler, announced in court they would be requesting bond and pleading not guilty.
In court Thursday, Rabb didn’t say anything and his attorney had no comment on the charges. Officers said Rabb claims the sex was consensual.
Clayton County police said it’s tough when one of their own is accused of a crime but, “If someone has done something wrong regardless of your profession or where you stand in it you have to pay the consequences,” said Owens.
Rabb has been placed on administrative leave with pay and he could lose his job after a hearing with the police chief. He will be back in court for a preliminary hearing in two weeks.
He is currently in the Clayton County Jail without bond.

There is no way, no how! this man is innocent and the truth will come out. please investigate her background, the story does not sound right. this sounds real fishy!!! when the truth comes out she needs to be thrown in jail!!!!!!

another police officer in jail with NO BOND??sounds like judge ison might be involved, he was good at arresting political opponets and police officers who would not condone his gay advances, just ask the city of mt. view police dept {no longer has charter} because of iceman ison.he really broke all rules concerning prosecution of the city and its charter.you know there is a freedom of inforamtion act, and i will exercise that right agaist the iceman, and see what i find out about his { I HEARSAY } sexual advances agaist certain sgt in riverdale{ you can cover it up judgey poo but you cant hide the odor ! he has seen to it that people who didnt like him were put in jail and he told the local bailbond community not to bail them out, refused to order protection for a police lt. and he was afraid for his life , which caused this police officer to plead guilty under great coercion!!! ruined his career and his standing in the community as youngest police lt. in the stae at that time! so i say mr. icemanwoman is this your claim to fame a corrupt judge in a corrupt county good work old son!
