Detention officer killed in drive-by www.privateofficer.com
WILMINGTON NC Aug 6 2008 — A detention officer with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office died after being shot several times early this morning.
According to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Department, 27-year-old Tarica Pulliam was shot several times outside her home at the Briarcliff Villas near Gordon Road as she was walking to her car.
Authorities are trying to locate 30-year-old Anthony Antwand Bowen, a light-skinned black male, who is a person of interest in this case.
Bowen is driving a silver or light green 2004 Ford Taurus with the license plate reading: VYE3086.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at 798-4260.
The investigation is ongoing.
