Collinsville police believe they will be able to solve more than 20 burglaries from one arrest.

The Truth behind Thomas M. Friese and where credit should be given.
The credit for the capture of Thomas M. Friese does not belong to the Collinsville Police Dept. In fact it belongs to an employee of the Holiday Inn, as he is the one who spotted the criminal breaking into our vehicle. The police were on the other side of the building. Not that the Holiday in should get any brownie points as they failed to inform their guest staying in the hotel of the rash of breakins in their parking lot. You would think someone would have brains to great customers and make them aware so they could have avoided a theift by bringing in valuables. Not to say much for Collinsville at all as the Police dept. cant even fill out a police report correctly. They actually listed the Holiday Inn as the victim so no restituion was filled even after they failed to recover the solden property. Then we have a hair brain victim assistance program women named Desi who cant figure out the Holiday Inn was not the victim, and too lazy to answer the phone let alone make a call to find out who the victim was. Also you have the processing attorney who said I quote ” I think she did the right thing” and hung up on me as he laughed that nothing was going to be done to replace my fathers day present too my father. I guess what else can you expect from goverment employees? No one to be accountable for anything. And Thats the truth but credit belongs to the employee not the police thats for sure.
Sorry I jumped the gun. Looks like the security gaurd was given credit. Fact remain that Collinsville criminal system is still flawed. Thank You too the security gaurd.
