A nightclub security person at Broadway Louie’s bar at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, caught a man who took a purse from a different bar in the area.
Joshua Cain, 23, of Medina, OH, walked into Broadway Louie’s holding a purse and walked directly to the bathroom of the bar.

A bouncer saw him walk in, thought it was suspicious and followed him to the bathroom, where he saw Cain emptying the purse on the floor.
The bouncer detained Cain, called Broadway at the Beach security and the man was arrested. According to a Myrtle Beach police report, Cain admitted that he took the purse from a chair at Senor Frogs.
Police called numbers from a cell phone in the purse and were able to locate its owner, who came to the office and verified that nothing had been taken from the purse.
