Police have arrested three suspects after two people were shot during an attempted robbery at a KFC restaurant on the 6200 block of Broadway Avenue.

Authorities responding to a robbery in progress aid that an armed security officer was involved in a shoot-out with suspect robbers and that several people were shot.
A woman, who police say was a customer and one of the three male suspects suffered non-life threatening injuries, Cleveland Police spokesman Thomas Stacho said.
Three men entered the restaurant wearing masks about 8:20 p.m. They were confronted by an armed security security.
One of the suspects held a gun to the guard’s head. One of the men shot a woman in the foot. The security officer was able to pull his weapon and then shot one of the suspects in the hand, Stacho said.Police say at this point all of the men fled in a car but officers soon located the suspects and pulled them over.
Police said two men were arrested.
The third man was arrested later. Two of the men were taken to city jail and the injured suspect is being treated at MetroHealth Medical Center.
The security officer was not injured in the robbery . The names and conditions of the victim and suspects were not available.
