CAMBRIDGE, Md. Nov 4 2008
Easton police on Friday arrested a man accused of stealing hundreds of dollars in merchandise and cash from the store where he worked as a loss prevention agent.
Police say officers were dispatched to the Target department store by another loss prevention employee concerning several thefts that had been committed by Target employee 51-year-old Warren Eugene Muhammad.
Police say Muhammad was a security officer for the store and confesssed to stealing items over the last month of his employment with Target.
According to police, Muhammad admitted to taking two IPods, five bottles of perfume, seven video games and other merchandise and cash. Investigators recovered two video games from Muhammad’s vehicle, according to police.
Muhammad was charged with theft less than $500, theft over $500 and theft scheme over $500. A court commissioner then released him.
