NTL. ASSOC. PRIVATE OFFICERS
http://www.privateofficer.com/ – Sheriff’s deputies say two women and two teenage girls face theft charges after they were seen removing hundreds of dollars worth of clothing from two department stores.
The suspects hid the clothes in handbags and carried them to a vehicle parked outside, according to Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports.
On Tuesday, security with Bealls at 9598 S.W. 114th St. told deputies they saw four women – later identified as Amy Renee Hope, 46, Karlyn R. Zanders, 20, and two teens, ages 17 and 16 – enter with handbags and walk around the store.
The witnesses said the four entered separate dressing rooms, and, when they left, their bags were full. The four then went to a white, four-door Lincoln.
At the Wal-Mart at 9570 S.W. State Road 200, deputies said the four ran into the store, grabbed clothing and ran out. Store officials estimate the total loss at $802.92.
Deputies caught the women in the parking lot of Big Lots at 8602 S.W. SR 200.
Hope and Zanders were taken to the Marion County Jail, while the teens were taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
The four were also issued trespass warnings.
