Police chief’s wife arrested for theft www.privateofficer.com

http://www.privateofficer.com/ — The wife of Riverside Police Chief Mark Reiss was charged with a misdemeanor shoplifting offense according to a police report.
According to Beavercreek police records, Christine Reiss, 40, was stopped by store security after an alleged incident in Von Maur’s department store at The Greene.
She was accused of concealing three items of clothing totaling $138 while checking out and paying for other purchases and as she left the store with the unpaid merchandise she was detained by security.
She was arrested and released on her own recognizance in Municipal Court Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Reiss has entered a not-guilty plea on the charge, which is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing March 2.
