Security officer stabbed helping fight victim www.privateofficer.com

SAN DIEGO CA Mar 13 2009 — A security guard who intervened in an argument was stabbed in the shoulder in Barrio Logan Tuesday, but the wound was not life-threatening, police said.
The 45-year-old man intervened after two men confronted a third man in the 3500 block of National Avenue around 12:40 a.m., San Diego police Sgt. Bob Dare said.
The man who was confronted told officers he believes his attackers were the ones who stabbed him a week earlier, Dare said.
After stabbing the guard, the two assailants fled in a light blue Mitsubishi sedan, according to Dare, who said both were believed to be Hispanic. One was about 5 feet 10 and 170 pounds and wore a gray polo shirt and light blue shorts. The other was about 5 feet 10 and 200 pounds, and wore a Padres shirt.
