Fillmore CA. April 20 2009
Sheriff’s deputies were looking today for three people suspected of an armed robbery at a drug store in Fillmore.
Deputies said two men and a woman entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy in the 600 block of Ventura Street about 8:20 p.m. Friday and took electronics merchandise worth about $260.
A security guard confronted one of the men as he was leaving the store. The man pulled out a knife and told the guard to leave his wife alone, deputies said.
The three fled in an older-model, gray Dodge van with a brown or burgundy horizontal stripe and a handicap license plate, police said.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and criminal complaint. To provide information, call 494-TALK or 385-TALK.
