Police charge two with felony theft at JC Penney www.privateofficer.com

Local police have arrested two women on felony theft charges after St. Cloud Police responded to a shoplifting complaint.
Officers said that they were dispatched at 8 p.m. Friday to the J.C. Penney, 4201 Division St. W, St. Cloud.
An investigation by loss prevention agents showed that the two had taken about $1,100 worth of merchandise from the store. Agents were able to apprehend the suspects as they left and detain them in the security officer until police could arrive.
Denise Feather, 33, of Minneapolis and Karla Roberts, 27, of St. Louis Park were arrested during the investigation, according to the police report.
Feather faces possible felony theft charges and Roberts faces a possible charge of felony aiding and abetting theft. Both women were taken to Stearns County Jail.
