Security guard arrested for killing boss www.privateofficer.com
Miami-Dade Police say a security guard who had been fired and who was angry that his air conditioning had been had been fired and who was angry that his air conditioning had been disconnected is now charged with killing his boss and shooting another woman who was nearby.
They say the men got into a “heated argument” on Thursday after Forman disconnected the air conditioning to the small apartment where Silva lived. They say Silva pulled out a gun and shot Forman and another woman who was on the property but who was not part of the dispute. Forman was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries. Debra Doud, 38, was also transported to JMH, where her condition is stable.
Silva is charged with second degree murder with a firearm and attempted murder with a firearm.
With tears in her eyes at her home, Forman’s widow Ronnie told CBS4′s Peter D’Oench that her husband was a good man. They were approaching their 48th wedding anniversary.
“This month,” she said, was when they were going to celebrate it.
Forman’s daughter, Beth, told me, “He was an incredible friend to many people. He was always there to help people. This was a tragedy.”
In his neighborhood, residents told me they were stunned by the news. “He was a very nice guy,” said Andrea Osona of Forman. “He was so nice and friendly. I feel bad and I am in shock right now.”
Another neighbor, Mark Conte, told me, “He was a good guy. This was stupid what happened.”
Silva had another address in Little Havana, where he picked up his mail, according to his friend, Edgardo Mastrodominico. He spoke in Spanish to and said that Silva was from Colombia and had lived here for about 20 years. “He is a nice guy.”

Two face aggravated robbery in Kroger incident www.privateofficer.com
A 47-year-old man and 41-year-old woman were apparently caught stealing alcohol from the supermarket by a female security officer, Dean said.
The couple then escaped the store by throwing a liquor bottle at the guard and threatening her, he said. In the parking lot, the female suspect climbed behind the wheel of the couple’s truck and allegedly attempted to run over the guard, who was injured possibly while avoiding the vehicle, Dean said.
The arrestees are expected to make an initial appearance at the Licking County Municipal Court this afternoon and will not be named by The Advocate until charges are read in court.

Judge okays security guard’s body to be exhumed www.privateofficer.com
A Greene county judge will allow the body of a Springfield hospital security guard to be dug up from the grave.
Judge Mike Cordonnier agreed to the request Thursday made by the lawyer of Jeffrey Bolden.
Monte Ruby was buried last August, days after police say he was kicked in the head by Bolden who was brought to Cox North Hospital on August 2. Court documents say Bolden was arrested in connection with an assault and attempted arson.
Police had to use a dog to take him into custody. That’s why he was taken to the hospital; the dog had bitten him.
The court order granting exhumation says Bolden and Ruby knew each other before the incident.
Bolden claims when he was brought into the hospital that Ruby choked him.
Even though an autopsy was performed on Ruby’s body before burial, doctors did not scrape beneath his fingernails. The defense attorney suggests that’s where a pathologist would find signs Ruby choked the defendant.
Monte Ruby died four days after he was kicked in the back of the head.
Bolden is charged with second degree murder for the security guard’s death.
No date has been set for the exhumation. The medical examiners office says the process of scraping beneath the fingernails takes about 5 minutes.
