Small Alabama town raided by federal agents www.privateofficer.com

Repton AL June 28 2009
Dozens of drug agents swooped into the small Conecuh County town of Repton looking for drugs and weapons.

The 35th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force had five search warrants and served them all at the same time across town. Agents believe that some people in this sleepy town are part of a large scale cocaine distribution network and involved in weapons trafficking!

This day of work involved collecting evidence for a federal case that’s been years in the making. They found crack cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.

The task force is made up of multiple agencies including Greenville Police, Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Conecuh County Sheriff’s Office, Evergreen Police, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and the Clarke County Drug Task Force. Agents from Alcohol Tobacco Firearms (ATF) also assisted in the bust.

On Monday, the same agents arrested Dreyfus Broughton and Gregory Stanton in Evergreen after reportedly finding drugs and guns in their homes. Agents believe the evidence they found on Thursday is part of that same operation.
