Suffolk County police say witnesses recounted seeing guards attacked by at least five men as they kicked out an unruly patron from 620 Lounge in Patchogue early Sunday morning.
Some of the five attackers had knives, and they all fled following the attack.
The 39-year-old guard was listed in stable condition at a nearby hospital. Police are looking to talk to more witnesses.
