Police arrest three for mansion burglary www.privateofficer.com
The home is on 10 acres. It has at least 20 rooms, a 20-car garage, diving pool and tennis courts. The bank owns it now but it was listed in January for $10 million.
Police said several several people jumped the fence and broke in early Thursday morning.
The Chandler Police Department got a call from the alarm company monitoring the house at about 1:30 a.m.
The security system is very sophisticated, police said. It’s wired with cameras that feed livestreaming video from inside the home.
Chandler police said they were on the scene in three minutes, waiting for the suspects to come out.
“They were leaning up against the back patio door,” said Sgt. Joe Favazzo of the Chandler Police Department. He said they offered no resistance.
Police arrested Casey Ekren, 27, of Tempe; Jon Farris, 43, of Gilbert; and Raymond Greening, 33, of Tempe.
The home has been targeted before, officers said. Several months ago, after someone broke in, the bank installed the high-tech security system.
