Casino security charge man in disturbance www.privateofficer.com
Police responded to the casino and spoke to security officers, who reported Day was highly intoxicated and became hostile when he was asked if he was driving home.
Day is accused of refusing to follow police orders, which caused a scene outside of the casino.
After being transported to the police station and placed in a cell, police said he became disorderly and repeatedly kicked the door and pounded on the glass while screaming profanities.
Day was eventually handcuffed and shackled after two officers entered his cell and detained him.

Security arrest 216 at Buffalo Bill games www.privateofficer.com
Jeffrey A. Miles, 34, was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Orchard Park police said.
Miles was transferred to an emergency medical station at Ralph Wilson Stadium for treatment.
Officers called the children’s mothers in Olean and made arrangements for the women to pick them up, police said.
The harsh weather at Sunday’s game did not curtail rowdy and drunken behavior on the part of other fans.
Orchard Park police also arrested a Toronto man on charges of reckless endangerment and assault after he threw two propane cylinders into a bonfire. Two people suffered burns and required treatment in Erie County Medical Center.
John Musikka, 40, was charged in that incident and later released on $300 bail.
Stadium security officers arrested 17 individuals on charges ranging from possession of alcohol by minors to disorderly conduct.
With the Bills’ season now at an end, Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz described policing efforts as commendable in making sure the general public was protected.
He explained that he assigned several extra officers to patrol around the stadium before, during and after the games. Back at the police station, an extra lieutenant routinely helped supervise processing of those arrested.
The Bills’ organization, the chief added, was more proactive this season in curtailing rowdy behavior.
“I believe the Bills have an interest in having a safe and secure environment for the fans, and if you do something wrong, you’re going to face arrest,” Benz said.
During the just-completed season, 216 people were arrested, most inside the stadium, but some outside of it.
Also on Sunday, state police made two traffic arrests following the Bills-Colts game.
Martin J. Rutecki, 22, of Colden, was charged with drunken driving after his vehicle crashed into a mailbox and ended up in a ditch on Boston State Road, troopers said.
Frank R. Dulak, 19, of Depew, was stopped on Transit Road in Lancaster for an unsafe lane change, according to troopers. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
In total, state police issued 22 traffic tickets to motorists following the game.

Fry’s Electronic security agent stabbed by shoplifter www.privateofficer.com
The suspected shoplifter got away. The security guard was not seriously hurt.
San Jose police officer Jermaine Thomas did not provide a description of the suspect. He said police responded to Fry’s at 550 East Brokaw Road about 7:30 p.m. after a security guard reported he was stabbed in the arm.
Fry’s spokesman Manuel Valerio said the guard received stitches for a “laceration” that was about an inch long on his forearm. Valerio did not discuss what was stolen.
“This person was doing his job. We’re glad he’s fine,” Valerio said.
A man who said he was the victim of the stabbing called the Mercury News to confirm that he is “fine.” But he wanted to add one point: he’s not a security guard. At Fry’s, his title is “loss prevention officer.”

CA. Fish and Game helicopter crash kills 4 www.privateofficer.com
By: Brett Davis/Staff
PRIVATE OFFICER NEWS
http://www.privateofficer.com/ — Authorities in California are confirming the crash of a federal helicopter which killed everyone on board.
The California Department of Fish and Game says three of its biologists were killed in a helicopter crash in the Sierra National Forest, and the pilot is believed to have died as well.
Authorities were notified about the crash, south of Redinger Lake, shortly after noon Tuesday and rescue crews were dispatched to the area.
Fish and Game Warden Patrick Foy says the biologists – all men – were conducting deer surveys in a remote, wooded area near the Fresno and Madera county line.
Madera County sheriff’s spokeswoman Erica Stuart says the crash has sparked a fire that has made the site inaccessible, but light winds and moisture in the area have slowed the fire’s movement.
Rescue workers are still trying to make entry into the scene at this time and did not say when they expect to recover the bodies.
