Miami Fla April 7 2010 The family of a 39-year-old security guard shot and killed last month outside a Miami nightclub is joining Miami police department officials on Wednesday in pleading for the public’s help in finding the suspected killer.

Relatives of Luis Diaz, along with Miami homicide detectives, are urging the public to help find 27-year-old Jonathan Labrada.

Police say Labrada shot and killed Diaz about 8 a.m. March 13 at Las Bottellitas Restaurant/Club, 2150 NW 22nd Ave. Miami police officers responded to the restaurant/club after receiving a 911 call that a security guard had been shot by a man who fled the scene.

Diaz was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died.

Labrada, who goes by Yeyo, is also wanted in connection with an attack against a law enforcement official. Police say he has an extensive criminal past and is “armed and dangerous.”
