Suspects rob VA motel hold guard at gunpoint www.privateofficer.com
SUFFOLK, Va.Oct 5 2010 – Suffolk police are looking for three suspects accused of robbing the Courtyard Marriott located in the 8000 block of Harbour View Boulevard last week.
Police say two of the suspects were armed when one of them pointed a gun at the clerk. Another suspect held the security guard at gunpoint. The suspects then forced the clerk to open the cash drawer and got away in a vehicle of unknown description.
The first suspect, who police say did not appear to be armed, was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black face covering, black pants, white gloves, black shoes with white edges and shoelaces.
The second suspect was armed with a handgun and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black face covering, blue/gray faded jeans, black ball cap, black gloves, and a red bandanna hanging out of the right rear jean pocket.
The third suspect also had a handgun and was wearing a black short sleeve shirt with writing/emblem on the front left chest area, black ball cap with writing/emblem on the front and black afro-type hair poking from under it approximately 2 inches, multi-colored bandanna covering his face, blue jeans, white/gray gloves, and dark colored shoes.
Police are interested in speaking with a male subject who entered the hotel about 20 minutes before the incident occurred. That subject is described as a black male with black close-cut short hair, wearing a black jacket with a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes, entered the business and inquired about room rates. He also took a cookie from a covered plate using a napkin to lift the cover.
