Tacoma man charged with breaking into bank www.privateofficer.com
Tacoma WA Nov 11 2010 A man who police say broke into a bank overnight and then laughed about was arrested late Monday and charged with breaking into a downtown bank.
The silent motion alarm was activated at the US Bank, 2317 Pacific Ave., police said. When security officers called inside, a man answered the phone. “I broke into your bank,” he said.
Security officers notified police who surrounded the bank when they found the front window broken and a man lying on the floor inside.
The man was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Police have not released his name.
