DORAVILLE, GA. Nov 22 2010 — A professional wrestler has been shot and killed while working as a security guard at a DeKalb County night club.
DeKalb police told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that 33-year-old Chris Long was shot early Sunday at the club Shooter Alley on Buford Highway.
A friend of Long, Frank Aldridge, told the AJC that Long and other security guards had ordered three men to leave the night club and that Long was apparently shot when the men returned. Long went by the nickname “Solid.”
Police told the AJC that Long died after being taken to an area hospital.
Long, of Smyrna, was a wrestler with Lucha Libre USA, a Mexico-based company that produces live events and television shows on MTV2
