Rapid City seeks to change in security guard regulations www.privateofficer.com

Rapid City Jan 31 2011 Mayor Alan Hanks is seeking volunteers to serve on the Security Guard Review Task Force, which will review the current city regulations for security guards and submit a report on suggested changes to the Rapid City Council in May.

Owners or operators of security companies in Rapid City, as well as interested residents, are asked to submit a Citizens Interest Form by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7.

The Citizen Interest Form is available on the city’s website, http://www.rcgov.org, or by calling the mayor’s office at 394-4110.
