WAYNE CO., MS July 22 2011- A former Wayne County Justice Court Judge and longtime law enforcement officer has been arrested on rape charges.
Billy Bonner, 72, was arrested Tuesday afternoon after Wayne General Hospital reported a 16 year old rape victim had been brought to the medical facility.
Sheriff John Farrior says the teenaged girl was cleaning Bonner’s house when the alleged attack occurred.
Bonner is being held on $100,000 bond. Bonner is a former Wayne County Justice Court Judge, a former county constable, and had worked as a corrections officer at the Leaksville prison.
