Rio Rancho NM July 24 2011 A former V. Sue Cleveland High School teacher in Rio Rancho has been arrested for having sex with a minor.
Belinda Ray is charged with three counts of rape and three counts of selling or giving alcohol to a minor. Detectives say the victim is now an adult, but was a juvenile when the alleged incident happened.
Rio Rancho Public Schools officials say Ray resigned at theend of this past school year, but didn’t say if it had any connection to the alleged incident.
Ray worked at Cleveland High from 2009 until this year. Before that, she spent 10 years at Rio Rancho High.
