Gautier MS Sept 20 2011 A police officer accused of “touching a child” has been arrested this morning.
Gautier police along with officers of the Pascagoula Police Department arrested Robert Brian Hill on three counts of sexual battery and 12 counts of touching of a child for lustful purposes by a person in position of trust.
Hill is a 13 year law enforcement officer and has worked for the Gautier Police Department for the last three years. Hill had been assigned for two-and-a-half years in the patrol division before being reassigned in May to the local Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County.
Information was brought forward on July 17, 2011 that alleged Hill may have been involved in conduct unbecoming of an officer and an internal investigation was opened.
