Murrieta CA Oct 28 2011 A 26-year-old Murrieta parolee is back in jail this morning after he was spotted siphoning gas in a hospital parking lot and had to be wrestled into custody by security guards, police say.

Elias Gabrielle Adamakis was arrested at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday in the 36900 block of Ascella Lane and booked for investigation of robbery, parole violation, misdemeanor vehicle tampering and misdemeanor battery on hospital grounds, according to jail records.

Police were dispatched at 2:18 p.m. to a disturbance in the employee parking lot at Loma Linda University Hospital, 28062 Baxter Road. They found that hospital security officers had wrestled and restrained Adamakis who had been seen siphoning gasoline from parked cars and tried to escape when the security officers approached, police Sgt. Don Weller said in a written statement.

“In addition to this incident, according to the security officers, Adamakis was seen on two prior occasions committing the same crime but was never caught,” according to the statement. “A records check … revealed he is on active parole for theft-related charges.”
