SAN ANTONIO TX Nov 2 2011 — A security guard at a nightclub on the city’s north side says he was forced to fire shots at a man who was trying to run him over.

Police said two security guards were involved in an argument with two people in a white Crown Victoria outside Silk Ultra Club, 7959 Fredricksburg Road, around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

The security guards told police the vehicle sped out of the parking lot, turned around and drove straight at them. Police said one of the security guards threw his baton at the vehicle and the other fired two shots from his gun.

One bullet struck the trunk of the vehicle near the license plate. No one was injured. Police have not charged either party in the case.
