Henrico VA police officer guilty of stealing dog while on duty www.privateofficer.com
HENRICO, VA Nov 4 2011 – A former Henrico Police officer will have to pay a $150 fine for stealing a dog when he was on duty.
Wednesday, a judge convicted 31-year-old Juston Sanudo of petty larceny.
Sanudo picked up the chocolate lab after someone called police to report they had found a lost dog.
Instead of taking it to animal control, the cop took it home It wasn’t until the owner found out her dog was found, that he returned it.
He says he didn’t take it to the pound because he was afraid it would be euthanized.
