Pittsburgh school security officer injured breaking up fight www.privateofficer.com
Pittsburgh PA Nov 12 2011 A security guard at the Duquesne Education Center was injured during a fight between two girls this afternoon.
Duquesne police Chief Richard Adams said he was told by his officers that the security guard was trying to break up the fight when he fell and possibly hit his head. The security guard was taken to UPMC McKeesport for treatment.
Sarah McCluan, district spokeswoman, confirmed there was an incident involving three students around 2 p.m. She said the district will conduct a thorough investigation.
McCluan said she could not say anything about the extent of the security guard`s injuries, citing privacy reasons
