Wichita KS. Dec 27 2011 Police said a man took his own life, minutes after renting a gun from a local shooting range.

Police were called to Bullseye Shooting Range, 1455 N. Terrace, around 12:15 p.m.

Investigators said a 51-year-old man went into the business and rented a gun. The man received some training from an employee and then walked in to one of the shooting booths.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Police do not believe the shooting was the result of an accident.

Officers talked with several customers who saw the man walk into the business. However, no one witnessed the shooting.
