SOMERSWORTH, N.H.Jan 18 2012 – Rochester police said the death of a housing official who was being investigated for theft has been ruled a suicide.
Police said 42-year-old Lisa A. Reid died a day after she was fired from her job at the Somersworth Housing Authority when officials had begun an investigation into the theft of more than $100,000.
Rochester Police Capt. Scott Dumas told Foster’s Daily Democrat Reid’s death was ruled a suicide by an apparent drug overdose.
Police said the investigation into the theft from the housing authority is continuing.
