PAGEDALE, MO. Jan 26 2012 – A Metrolink security guard shot and wounded a man this afternoon on a metro platform at the Rock Road Station in the 7000 block of St. Charles Rock Road in Pagedale.
St. Louis County Officer Rick Eckhard says it happened around 4 P.M.
“The security guard was responding to a disturbance call and spotted a man displaying a weapon. The security guard was defending himself and shot the suspect.” Officer Eckhard told KMOX News.
The suspect’s injuries are serious, but not life threatening. He is hospitalized.
Officer Eckhard says police are interviewing witnesses.
