Security officers nab Houston shooter www.privateofficer.com
HOUSTON TX July 6 2012—Two fast-acting security guards helped detain a suspect who shot a man at a southwest Houston apartment complex early Wednesday, according to Houston police.
Two men got into some sort of altercation in the Sharon Park apartments on Chimney Rock at El Camino Del Rey around midnight. One of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other in the upper chest area.
Security guards were nearby at the time of the shooting and managed to hold the suspect until HPD arrived. The suspect was then taken into custody.
The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
