Cherry Hill police and security nab seven shoplifters www.privateofficer.com

Cherry Hill NJ Dec 3 2012  Police officers and local loss prevention agents stopped seven shoplifters in the last week who allegedly attempted to steal more than $2,500 worth of merchandise from several stores in the township.
The biggest bust came at Macy’s in the Cherry Hill Mall on Sunday, when police arrested four Camden residents they say were trying to get away with $1,507.50 worth of stuff from the department store.
Charged with shoplifting were Reinaldo Rivera, of Morse Street, Jailene M. Rivera and Hilda I. Rivera, of Sayres Avenue, and Daniel E. Lopez, of Baird Boulevard.
Another alleged shoplifter at Macy’s the same day not only tried to run off with merchandise, but was also carrying drugs, police said.
They arrested Joy Marie Quarles, of Kaighn Avenue in Camden, and charged her with shoplifting for allegedly trying to take $296 in merchandise, and also charged her with possession of cocaine.
Police arrested a shoplifter in a third incident, also Sunday, who they say attempted to walk out of Kohl’s at the HillviewCenter with $630 in merchandise. They arrested Edna M. Torres, of Atlantic Avenue in Camden, and charged her with shoplfiting.
Finally, police arrested a LaurelSprings man Tuesday, when they said he attempted to leave Kohl’s with $201.97 in merchandise. They charged George Robert Sheeron, of Antietam Drive, with shoplifting.
Police are also looking for help identifying another alleged shoplifter who they say got away with $500 in merchandise from Kohl’s Wednesday afternoon.
