Maryland teacher arrested for possession of child pornography www.privateofficer.com

BALTIMORE MD March 2 2013 - A Maryland teacher has been arrested for having child pornography. 54-year-old Lawrence Joynes of the 1900 block of Ormand Road, Dundalk was a music teacher at New Hampshire Estates Elementary School in Silver Spring.

Police, conducting an investigation after receiving a tip found the pornography on his home computer in Dundalk. Joynes is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $1 million bail.

Montgomery County Police is investigating to see if any criminal offenses took place in Montgomery County.
