Four charged in JC Penney thefts www.privateofficer.com

Four people were arrested Friday in connection with an apparent shoplifting incident at JC Penney’s at the Eastern Hills Mall, Erie County sheriff’s officials said.
Store security saw two women and a man allegedly take more than $2,000 worth of merchandise and flee the store without paying just before 1 p.m.
Ryan G. Brandt, 19, of Englewood Avenue, Town of Tonawanda, was apprehended a short time later in a nearby Pizza Hut. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center, pending arraignment.
Later Friday, police arrested Crystal Brown, 17, and Michael H. Long, 20, of the same Englewood Avenue address along with Amber Mascio, 17, of Eggert Road, Buffalo. All were charged with grand larceny.
