Salmon Run Mall security assaulted by violent intoxicated man www.privateofficer.com

 

 

WATERTOWN, N.Y.Jan 12 2012 — A city man is accused of attempting to punch and kick Salmon Run Mall security personnel Tuesday evening, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.

Anthony F. Reid, 21, of 526 Morrison St., was charged with, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and two counts of second-degree harassment.

Deputies said they responded to the mall at 8:13 p.m. after a report of an intoxicated male becoming violent toward security.

Mr. Reid allegedly attempted to kick Eli W. Nutter III in his face and attempted to punch Chad Schermerhorn during the incident, according to court documents.

When deputies arrived, he allegedly struggled by kicking and pulling away as they placed him under arrest, they said.

He was processed at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released with a Jan. 26 appearance ticket in town of Watertown Court.
