Dillard’s security nabs felony shoplifter www.privateofficer.com

Pueblo CO Jan 29 2011 Two people were arrested Tuesday evening after they allegedly walked out of a department store with more than $1,600 in clothing.

A security officer at Dillard’s, 3601 Dillon Drive, reported to officer Erik Juno that he saw a female, identified as Jo Renay Padeway, 50, of Colorado Springs, walk out of the store with several items of clothing she did not purchase.

The security officer said he walked outside and found Padeway sitting in the passenger seat of a parked 1994 Chevy Blazer.

While he was talking with Padeway, the security officer said, he saw Mark Anthony Lobato, 42, walk out of the store with two leather coats. The officer said that when Lobato saw him, he ran but was quickly apprehended.

Police found approximately 20 stolen clothing items in the vehicle belonging to Lobato.

Lobato, whose address was listed in Denver, and Padeway were arrested on suspicion of theft. Padeway was in Pueblo County jail with bail set at $10,000. Lobato also was in jail with a $10,000.
