Brunswick Community College employee arressted-fired from overrelationship with a minor www.privateofficer.com
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC May 1 2012 - Officials at Brunswick Community College say they have fired an employee in their IT department after he was arrested on charges of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.
The victim is a 16-year-old student, who is currently enrolled in the Brunswick County Early College High School program on the campus of BCC.
IT Technician Josue Juarez, 30 years old, was arrested and charged today on charges of indecent liberties with a minor and sexual battery. A release from the school says Juarez was suspended from his job last Thursday after college officials got a report of this activity. Juarez was fired today after the arrest.
Juarez was originally hired September 1st, 2007.
