The Resort Communities Security Association honored 12 security officers at its third annual Service Award program at a June 4 luncheon attended by 98 members at the Desert Falls Country Club.
The RCSA is an organization of professional security managers, community association managers and valleywide law enforcement agencies.
Receiving Meritorious Service award recognition was Jose Gallardo of Boyd & Associates at Heritage Palms. Armando Lopez of Bower Security at the Palm Valley Country Club was honored with the Association’s Life Saving Award. He helped a homeowner who was being attacked by a neighbor with a handgun.
Jeffrey Long of Bower Security, assigned to The Tradition in La Quinta, was honored with Association’s highest award, the Wallace Brown Memorial Award. Long saved a child who was in danger of being hit by a trash truck.
