Kohl’s LP Agent stops shoplifting spree www.privateofficer.com

The thefts occurred at the Kohl’s on South Louise Avenue and the security agent told police he detained 18-year-old Stevie Nicole Mueller after seeing her go into a dressing room with clothing and a pair of shoes handed to her by Keanon Ross Petit, 18, and then come out with a full purse but none of the items.
Petit fled the store, but police found him waiting in a car in the Kohl’s parking lot. Inside the car, they found $300 worth of items from the Abercrombie & Fitch store in The Empire Mall and $150 worth of clothing from the Gordman’s store just south of the mall. Employees with each store confirmed that the items had not been paid for, Clemens said.
The items from Kohl’s had a value of more than $200.
Police charged Mueller with of second-degree petty theft and possession of stolen property. Petit was arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property.
