Metro Nashville Police Officer fired for inappropriate touching of a restaurant waitress www.privateofficer.com
NASHVILLE, Tenn.Dec 31 2011- Metro Police Officer Anthony Jackson was fired Thursday after a disciplinary hearing in regard to his inappropriate touching of a restaurant waitress while off-duty.
Jackson was accused of pulling on the underwear of a female waitress in a Hickory Hollow restaurant while off duty on February 22, 2010. The victim and her employer reported the matter to police, resulting in investigations by the police department’s Office of Professional Accountability and Sex Crimes Unit.
Anthony Jackson worked for the police department for 15 years. He was decommissioned on April when the investigation began.
Deputy Chief of Police Todd Henry, who presided over the hearing, said Jackson’s behavior was unacceptable and dismissed him from the police department.
