Montgomery Al Sept 4 2010 Police Officer resigns facing multiple charges.
21-year-old Officer Mark Kyle McKenzie turned in his badge, gun and resignation to MPD Thursday.
McKenzie was arrested Wednesday night in Greenville Alabama, for attempting to elude police in a high speed chase, reckless endangerment, and reckless driving.
He was driving his motorcycle in speeds excess of 100 miles per hour.
This isn’t the first time McKenzie has been in trouble.
He was placed on administrative duty in July after firing a weapon in the air at Millbrook pub.
