Ten people have been arrested as a result of a 3-week undercover operation inside Club Isis, located at 9529 Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island, according to a news release from Sgt. Neil Johnson, public affairs officer with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.
A raid was conducted about 3 a.m. Saturday at the business by the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, 15th Judicial Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit, the state Law Enforcement Division, the state Department of Revenue, and the state Highway Patrol.

“The raid early Saturday morning was based on the compiled information from previously reported incidents and the undercover operation in an attempt to stop the criminal activity and send a message that it will not be tolerated,” Johnson stated.
Those arrested and charged include: Cedrick Dwayne Baldwin, 27, Sumter, unlawful carrying of a pistol and violation of security officer registration; Robert Nelson, 30, Sumter, unlawful carrying of a pistol; Montea Darryl Myers, 24, Murrells Inlet, possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine; Christopher Huggins Lewis, 27, Hemingway, possession of cocaine; Shawn Lamont Simmons, 35, Georgetown, simple possession of marijuana; Marquell Rashod Weaver, 20, Hemingway, simple possession of marijuana; Brian Keith Dennison, 37, Pawleys Island, violation of security officer registration; David Michael Syndab, 49, Pawleys Island, disorderly conduct; Richard Lee Green, 49, Pawleys Island, bench warrant for failure to appear in family court; Maurice Allen Scott, 39, Pawleys Island, warrant service for three counts of violation of check law.
