Security officers lead police to burglary suspect www.privateofficer.com

 

Monterey CA May 1 2012 A Salinas man was arrested on multiple charges late Saturday night after apartment complex security guards called police to report a car with no license plates and suspicious activity. 

Police said they were called to the Village North Lagoon Townehouse complex at 2398 N. Main St. shortly before 10:30 p.m. when security first contacted a man parking a car on the property without a permit and then seeing him run from a freshly burglarized car.

Police said they traced their suspect, Zachary Dobbs, 27, to his mother’s apartment in the complex and arrested him on suspicion of auto theft, burglary, possession of stolen property, parole violation and an outstanding felony warrant.
